The Bahrain Defence Force – Royal Medical Services (BDF-RMS) commenced in 1968 as a small clinic. In 1979 the BDF-RMS grew from a small operation into a 120 bed hospital. We have since continuously grown and expanded our services, becoming the second largest hospital in Bahrain with 481 beds to date. While valuing its rich history, the BDF-RMS continuously aims to improve and uphold its commitment to offer the highest quality of healthcare in the most efficient manner.

The three (3) major components of the BDF-RMS include: The Military Hospital, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa Cardiac Center and the Field Military Battalion.

I was suffering lack of sleep and breathing problems caused by a deviated septum and enlarged turbinates. I was seen by a number of ENT physicians in Bahrain but somehow i did not feel comfortable with any of them. I was recommended Dr. Hisham by a trusted friend and so I booked an appointment to see him. After getting over the shock of seeing a doctor in a full military outfit, I felt at ease and very comfortable to go ahead with surgery intervention to resolve my condition. I underwent Septoplasty surgery with ENT consultant/surgeon Dr. Hisham yousif Al Saad. I must say that I am extremely pleased with the outcome and with the care given during and after surgery. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Hisham and BDF hospital for anyone who is seeking a highly skilled and professional ENT doctor in a very well equipped hospital. Many thanks to all of those who looked after me especially Dr. Hisham and his assistant Nelo.
