Founded by the late Mr. Mohamed Saleh Yaquby in 1949, in Manama, capital city of Kingdom of
Bahrain. Yaquby Stores carries pride in ethically serving the needs of the wide spectrum of the
Bahraini community and tourists.
Yaquby Stores has been serving the community for over six decades, and has therefore become
the one stop destination for items ranging from electronics, and household appliances to premium
brands and corporate gifts.
Based on the growing needs of the community in Bahrain, Yaquby has expanded its product mix
greatly. Today, Yaquby is the exclusive distributor for over thirty worldwide known brands.

Steiner, S.T. DuPont, Tamron, Victorinox, Zeiss.
Yaquby has several distribution channels, ranging from our eleven retail showrooms, to hypermarkets,
department stores, and Bahrain Duty free shop at Bahrain international airport. Besides
to distributing, Yaquby is one of the main shareholders in Bahrain Duty Free.
Yaquby has recently invested in the new concept of The CAMERA SHOP in Bahrain
City Centre. This unique concept is positioned in the market as “Your one stop shop for all your
photographic needs.” Yaquby is keen to expand this concept all over the Middle East in the near
future.
