Bienvenue au Café Chantilly !
Bonjour, my name is Ségolène Crêtaux, I am the owner and director of Café Chantilly. I originally come from France and spend many years in Lyon the capital of French gastronomy. Coming to Bahrain I wanted to share my love for French cuisine. That is how we Café Chantilly came to see the day. We officially opened in January 2018 with the presence of her Excellency the French Ambassador, Mrs Cécile Longé.
Coming to Café Chantilly is much more than just a restaurant, its a voyage. Café From the décor, the atmosphere, the smell of freshly baked bread, eye dazzling pastries, we base ourselves on authenticity. I want transport my customers, make them feel as if they had stepped in the streets of Paris. As part of our vision of sharing our French heritage and culture, we offer beginner French classes to students who are keen to learn the language giving them the basic knowledge to help them fully expand in their language.
I was thoroughly surprised of how people embraced French culture that we decided to start catering and bring people a little piece of France into their home. Moreover, we recently created a second company, named “Chantilly FOOD” that will supply all of the kingdom of Bahrain the best handcrafted French products. So you now we will be able to find us everywhere you go.
