Ithmaar Holding - Manama

Ithmaar Holding is an investment company based in Bahrain that is regulated and licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB). It is listed on the Bahrain Bourse, Boursa Kuwait, and Dubai Financial Market. On 28 March 2016, the shareholders of formerly named Ithmaar Bank B.S.C. approved a plan to transform the group's operations. This transfer includes Ithmaar Holding retaining 100 percent ownership of all assets previously owned by Ithmaar Bank through two subsidiaries: Ithmaar Bank B.S.C (c), an Islamic retail bank that holds the core banking business, and IB Capital B.S.C. (c), an investment subsidiary that holds investments and other non-core assets. Both of these subsidiaries are regulated and licensed by the CBB.
